I specialize in human-centered narratives about science, environment, climate and health. I’m fascinated by questions of how we view science, and what we think of as natural. My work has taken me to places as far as the Dominican Republic and Mozambique — but also to deeply report on the places I’ve called home for most of my life: Southern California and the Pacific Northwest.
